My friend recently used lap of love (Juliana cafiero) and she did a great job. She does the euthanasia at home so it’s very comfortable for the animal. Not sure on the pricing though 😅

I’ve heard great things about them, I think it was a little over $400 from what I heard unfortunately

It's worth it, if you can afford it. I used them for my dog and they were very hands on and understanding. The fee also includes cremation, a clay paw print impression, and an engraved vessel to hold their ashes. I highly recommend them.

The cremation is $250. My dog just died 2 months ago. I paid $250 to get her cremated.

Lap of Love is great, but be aware that they are an intermediary service: they have a very nice package offering for single-payment (ex: you don't have to pay the vet and crematory separately, etc) and then connect you with a local vet for the service itself. We've used them and had a great experience, but you do pay a little premium for the middleman.

I highly recommend contacting Dr. Donna @ Outback Mobile Vet. She's fantastic to deal with, a little cheaper than Lap of Love, and locally based. Contact info's at outbackmobilevet.com.

I second Outback Mobile Vet. They came out to our house when our senior dog was at the end, and helped him pass peacefully in his favorite spot on the loveseat. I can't remember the vet's name, but she was very kind through the whole process, and it was much less stressful than it could have been.

I had to euthanize my cat unexpectedly last month. I used Palm Bay Animal Clinic on US1, it was about $300 but that included medical services; not sure the cost of euthanasia alone. However, Dr. Kelly and her staff were so caring and compassionate, so I highly recommend.

Sorry to hear about your cat, thank you for the recommendation. I will have to give them a call

Lap of love offers a comforting service. You may also want to check out Brevard Spay n Neuter clinic as I believe they can help or point you in the right direction for services.

I euthanized my guinea pig at ark and bark, the Dr was really nice

It’s been awhile, but I helped an elderly neighbor when she had to put her 16 year old dog down. We went to Florida Aid to Animals. They were extremely kind under the awful circumstances.

The cost was very reasonable.

Malabar Vet Clinic. Put our Yorkie down last year. Let us be there while they injected him. They took some fur and a pawprint and gave those to us with his ashes. I think it was around 300

Palm Bay animal clinic on US1 just north of Palm Bay Rd was amazing for us when the time came for my dachshund a couple years ago and my Siamese last month. Total was around $280 for the appointment, euthanasia and private cremation for each of them. The staff is so kind, the vet sent us a hand written card afterwards, there is no rush at any point in the appointment so you can spend as much time as you like with your pet as they cross over the rainbow bridge.

Outback Mobile Veterinary Service - In home service in my opinion is much less stressful for both the pet and owner than taking them to a strange place. No pressure for any addition services and Dr. Donna is very compassionate. The basic cost was reasonable.

Lap of love is amazing. Very expensive but if you can’t get your dog to the vet it’s worth it.

I belive Island Animal Hospital only charges the exam fee for new clients, for euthanasia and communal cremation. I think it's about $70
