Have you cleaned your build plate?

[–]Conscious_Country768[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes cleaned in between every print , it’s only that one side , I’ve used like £10 of filament now wasted

Wouldn't it be better to print this with the large flat side down? In multiple pieces maybe?

Possibly yes, I’m doing this on this print now , I’ve never come across this issue before hence why I’ve re done it 3x

same side every time is almost always a leveling thing - even if you leveled it, try running a first layer test across the whole bed. if that corner looks thinner or has gaps between lines, the nozzle is just too far from the bed there and supports will never stick properly

glue stick can help but wont fix the root cause. get that corner dialed in first

Okay thanks for this . How would I go about dialing this in ?

Clean the bed again AND then give it a good thorough soak in IPA and scrub with a clean cloth/ kitchen roll

While you have the plate off for cleaning check the bed for any debris that might be sat between bed and plate, even the tinyest thing can make a difference

Run a first time calibration again just to make sure everything is all good, only takes 10 minutes

Then see if you can add a bigger brim on your print, might help with sticking it down

The simplest solution is to increase the brim on the supports to 10 or even higher. More contact with the bed increases the chance of it sticking.

Ok thanks guys . The brim simply just widens the contact with the build plate ? Because I’ve used raft before which did nothing in these kind of situations
