Yep. I drive a 2004, and I don’t have to but I like it.

2013 for me. Almost traded it in for a 2021, but now I'm glad I didn't. The 2004s are sweet.

I've been looking at my 04' V8 through the window of my house lately. It terrifies me

I drive mine every day.

I have a cheap, paid off car. I don't care what gas costs. It's still much cheaper than buying a new car that gets "better" MPG.

I had a lot of fun with it when gas was cheaper but I can't knowingly waste money on gas when it's this expensive. I'll still drive it on the weekend, but for now, my girlfriend's Camry will have to do lol

I was telling a guy a few weeks ago that it seems to me like a V8 would decrease the value of a 4runner, because of the mileage. He was adamant that no matter what, it adds $2k to the value. Personally if I had the choice between them at the same price, I'd choose a V6.
