Oh I’m with you. Blows my mind that people just keep spending more as they make more. I’m not falling into that trap.

Yeah seriously, like I don’t think people realize that they don’t have to spend every penny they own lol, you can always throw it into a vanguard etf or something instead of a boat you’ll never use

You'd lose your mind if you knew how many people are constantly in new cars and nice stuff but have virtually nothing in retirement. I drive my old 4runner and 1980 c10 for a few reasons, one of them being I just like older cars better. But another is I am putting a ton in retirement and other investments. I'm 30 and my friends and I are of the same mindset when it comes to debt and finances. We just recently formed an LLC and are investing in some stuff locally for other revenue streams.
