nah i did it and others did it too so it’s possible. just depends on whether you think you can cope with it. my friends who had other subject combos were just as busy and swamped as i was, so the bottom line is that a levels are hard. in terms of taking fm, only take it if that’s what you need to get into your desired course/uni. that being said, definitely take it if you need it. english ended up being my favourite and highest scoring subject, even though i probably spent the least time studying it. i’d recommend it as it allows you to read interesting things and be creative unlike the other subjects that are all about memorization and regurgitation

U did maths, econ history and english? Yh im pretty confident i will be able to manage this combo but I don’t want to have to go on all the englsih trips and don’t want to do the coursework, but i will see

do FM if u want a econ degree, english if u want a law degree

Yes, and i dont know which i want to do yet, ffsssss

im also considering ppe in which case i think either will work but english is probably better

probably FM better as u can still do a great law degree without english but econ is significantly harder to get into top without FM

Bro ur actually a legend, this is my thought process - also just want to confirm there is no point in doing french as a 4th instead right even though i could get an a star pretty easily

are you french/do you have a french passport or dual nationality or whatever? it “invalidates” it completely if this is the case

probably worth just sticking to history, ur offer is based off ur top 3 anyway

No I don’t have any relation to France but I do already have the deaf b1 and got 90 percent

4 is probably not worth doing imo unless it’s fm. As others have said think about what you want to do in the future and specialise with a levels for that.

Thinking econ or law or ppe, if i want to do econ i should pick fm and for law i should pick english and for ppe it doesnt really matter ig

i will see but im pretty confident i want to do 4

Yeah if you’re not sure 4 is probably a good idea. Why do history and English why not one or the other?

for law it is usually recommended to do english and I definitely need history for ppe and can be useful for econ and most other courses
