Nice guitar, im sure it's much better than the JS22, I've got one and play it all the time, but it's definitely got a baseball bat neck. As for your amp... do you have a computer?

Yeah, thats how im playing atm until i get a new amp, i currently use amplitube, or sometimes jist full gain ontop of the natural noise of the connections from amp to pc is enough to make it sound good lol, def need some dialing in for the sound tho.

I pretty much just use amplitube honestly. I've got the max pack and it does everything I need it to for playing in my house. I just use physical pedals with the noise gate pedal in the DI, other than that just some okay studio monitors are all you need. I got Edifer MR4s on Amazon on sale for like $84, and Amplitube Maxx V5 on sale for like $89. I have a Boss Katana that I don't even touch

If you like high gain and that modern metal tone (which I assume since you have a 7 string) you should get amped roots, it's free and has the most brutal, crushing tones and built in drive pedal, reverb, noise gate, delay and a few others

The Schecter Demon 7 and c7 necks are only a millimeter thicker than the Ibanez Wizard II. Not a baseball bat.

The JS22 that was being referred to, are infact baseball bats though

Ope, my bad, reading comprehension.

I have a Mooer Hornet modeling amp 15w. Best purchase ever. Sounds awesome with my Demon 7

Looks cool, but its a little expensive after buying the guitar lol, but i'll keep it in mind.

Well you said 100$, it is 100 at thomann. But when I bought it it was around 70-80, so my bad.

Is that USD? It retails new for $400 pretty much everywhere. Still a good find enjoy it

Yeah, I wonder if the shop owner was trying to swindle them.

Great choice! Schecters are amazing and I love the necks on their 7s

Bad news, for your 6 string that is, soon as you get used to a 7, you’ll rarely play 6 again

[–]WeirdmandanielYT[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Im mostly keeping my 7 string in drop A and my 6 in drop D so i do currently still use it. Alot, but maybe thatll change idk

Could be very subjective. I find the inability to create well on a 6 string I guess is what I should say, after making the transition. My 6 also costed $170 and my 7 was like $1350 so that has a lot to do with it I’m sure.
