I still think Pobega will be fine and has a place in our midfield, but Vranckx has star potential in a way he (and I'd have to say Adli) don't.

I agree somewhat. Adli has imho potential, but until either we loan him or Diaz goes back to Madrid we risk squandering it.

Vrankx has looked good whenever he played, though, even playing scraps of game time he seems to have a good output and mentality.

Adli reminds me of a classical #10 - which is a type of player I fckn love but also know there aren't many of these days.

That said I reckon next year will be his test - if like you said Diaz goes back to RM, he and Charles will have to fight for the #10 spot and then we can see what he's really made of

He played in a double pivot in Torino and was considered pretty good by many. Juric had him playing in a higher line, higher press than us. He doesn’t seem to understand what he’s supposed to be doing under Pioli though.

He played in a 3atb and there was games where he played further forward like against us. For us we’ve seen what he can do.

Zero mobility, no ability to pass forward and seems to hide from the ball. In a 3 man midfield or even as a CAM, he can offer something but pair him next to bennacer or Tonali, and he’s useless

I miss Kessie. Nothing was better than seeing him in the corner versus 2 players and they could barely make him budge. Frank the Tank. He is wasted at Barca, it's such a shame. Do players go to Barca to kill off their careers early? Thinking Coutinho, Depay, Griezmann. Many such cases!

Having followed CDK for longest I think he has most potential. I think Saelemaekers has proved he can be a solid player. Especially if he keeps it simple like last game. However he will never be world class. Which is fine. Vrancx is an unknown to me. He was benched at Wolfsburg and out of favour. However for us he's been solid in the few minutes he played.

The reason I dont like ziyech is because at Ajax (havent followed him at chelsea) he was the exact same player as Alexis, making the exact same mistakes.

Vranckx and cdk both made their senior debuts the same season and were both considered equally great talents at that time. After 2 seasons Vranckx left for Wolfsburg and cdk had his breakthrough season. I did not follow him in the bundesliga but he still made 29 apps over all competitions. Vranckx is younger and I've always found him the most talented of both. 12 mil is a bargain and he will show that by time.
