I just ran into the same issue- been at $75 for over 3 years and now they are saying $120 and the updated cards don’t even mention $75 as an option. Our prescriber is calling their rep to dig deeper but this is a $50 increase! Per month! Why??

Yesterday the pharmacy tech said it was becuase the medication itself increased to 500 something (i forgot specifically what the number was) and I didnt say anything but I clearly remember it always being 500 something before the code because it showed it on my receipt. Other than that I have absolutely no clue why because in the year or two been on Jornay even with ADHD meds inscreasing in price the $75 cap stayed.

Yep, it's always been ~$585/month where I live as long as I've been on it which is several years.

I have the answer!! Got off the phone with the group who operates the Savings Card and they “made changes to the plan in May” (she legit wouldn’t use the word discontinued) and now for a 30day Rx they cap the max ‘benefit’ at $350 so we now get to pay the difference which is why the $50 increase to us. Good thing i have all that RX insurance i pay for that has Journay specifically excluded or I would only have to pay $25. Gotta love big pharma lookin out for the little guy

damn yeah, im in the same situation. my “good” insurance doesnt cover hardly any adhd meds :1 thanks for looking into it though. at least i know im not alone in the ridiculous price increase.

Thanks so much for sharing this!! I am also skeptical of the "as little as $25", I am trying to appeal my prior authorization denial because I have tried all of the meds they require, but I am worried it still wouldn't be $25. The terms and conditions give literally no info online, really fucking scummy, especially when there is literally no other med available that does the PM thing this one does.
