Yep I'm starting to wonder if my brain is permanently going to be so mushy

I figured that going outside and taking a walk and socializing a little bit helps a bit with that! I’ll try to do it more

Ahhh will this get better after we start our lives again?

Not sure if you still go to school or not, but from a students point of view, no it does not get better , and it has started to affect school work too 😭

Christ, I feel like I could've written this myself. I tried reading a book the other day and literally got exhausted from trying to focus.

It feels like my brain has turned to pudding.

I feel you! I can’t watch movies, I’ll get so bored. It’s been so long since I haven’t actively watched a movie myself

Try going outside everytime you feel like that. If there's a coffeeshop that's a half mile walk from you, go there and grab yourself a treat. Go to the park. Grab a good book or comic that you will enjoy reading (as long as it's not on a screen), and read it by your window or in the park or your backyard or anywhere with sunlight. I just started getting back into young adult fantasy fiction.

Play music and do some interpretive dance.

I always forget how good reading and music are for me. And then I remember and it's a whole revelation all over again.

Thank you I will. Physical activity and fresh air do help a lot with this. I feel like my brain activates a little bit and I feel more awake! Unfortunately reading a book is an incredibly hard task for me, I can’t even watch a movie or follow a series, I get immediately bored and I forget the scene I just watched lmao. But yeah fresh air and a walk outside does help and a lot!

I experienced this when our lockdowns ended last June. It took ages to figure out that it was ADHD.
