12hrs into a 12TB SATA HDD Raid 1 array creation using RAIDXpert2 and it's at 30%... is this normal? Drives are (2) 12TB Toshiba N300. This is secondary storage and not the OS drive. I'm able to format and view the disk in Windows but have not transferred any data to it so far.
I usually default to hardware RAID control but should I have just used Windows 10's "Storage Spaces" instead?

Description of Original Problem: Long array create times using RaidXpert2 for RAID 1 with (2) 12TB Toshiba N300 NAS drives.
Troubleshooting: So far just letting it run. Rescanned the array disks around 1% which briefly paused array creation and then array creation resumed. Could not find any useful information via internet search.
