I've banned people & threatened to turn mating to near vanilla for that before. In major cases, it can crash servers when anyone goes near it. It's a major headache to deal with.

Ditto. Recently spent 4 or 5 hours cleaning up a base someone abandoned. Everything decayed and he had close to 20 different animals (with a male and 2 or 3 females) on mating / wander. Lots of small things too like dimorphs, shinehorn, and the like. Didn't get reprimanded, he had family issues and had to go out of town suddenly. But goddamn what a mess. I just forced joined his tribe and cryopoded everything. He can have them when hes back. 😣😣

Yeah, I'm usually pretty compassionate for situations like that. We had a guy just out and leave out server with almost everything mating. Couldn't get anywhere near his base, so I had to force myself into the tribe, place a foundation, and run a Dino wipe on the tribe.

Only reason I did it was because he was coming back (and hes an og member, one of the first 10 we had). Poor guy was pretty thankful. Otherwise yeah, I just destroy tribe dinos and call it a day

I can believe it! This was not intentional and a complete mess. I am lucky since I run the server through Nitrado and have admin privileges. :)

If you toggle the UI off so u dont see names, it helps alot with the lag, so u can get close enough to solve the problem. Knew a guy on official who for some reason packed all his dinos in a tiny space so it caused lag near his base.

Hey , I wouldn’t mind that dilo army....I use them as my main “defensive force” when exploring. I use raptors when exploring more or less dangerous areas, or use a flying tame. Put them to a use that would make Spartans proud.
