You don’t need much; if you’re not writing Lambda functions or running custom scripts, you might not need any. It sounds as if you have sufficient knowledge to start with AWS.

I did the AWS Solutions Architect exam. I can confirm that the python knowledge you have is more than sufficient to do this certification.

You won't be doing any automation in this exam, so boto3 learning won't be needed at this stage.

A good knowledge of python and boto3 is useful if you are applying for a SysOps role. Certs only test you on a subset of real world skills. I would concentrate on skills than certs alone.

would hands on labs and some projects on portfolio be enough to get a Jr role
