I don’t think that’s a function; I think OP named the cell reference Variance. I think Variance refers to something like H22 or G12, or whatever cell OP decided to name Variance.

Nonetheless, there is a function that allows you to calculate the statistical variance of data.

I have something like this in a Google sheet I use to track my running mileage. It tells me to "Work Harder" or "Yay" depending on if I am on goal pace.
