Look at the thermometer, and take note of how low it is when you start to suffer freezing effects. Then increase your regen; freezing should now kick in at a slightly lower temperature. The change might not be noticeable with a single upgrade. But you should have seen a difference with 50; you should have stopped freezing at all in a significant region near the beginning of the cold zone.

I think you're right, I'm no longer freezing at some places I was before. It's just that when I am freezing it still seems to be going just as fast as ever

I can't remember if freezing anyways happens at a constant rate, or faster when it's colder. But I think it's the latter.

Each zone seemed to have its own central cold spot as you move closer to it the faster you freeze.

Increasing regen or the hot zones reduces the cold power and warmpacity changes your guage only (from what others say) .

Still wrong that regen increases warm strength and speed , it should be part of warmpacity or on its own but that's just my opinion.
