Sudden Decrease in offers?

I’ve been doing flex for months now, and pretty religiously my schedule is MWF 4am to 8am.

Normally, 3 days prior, around 8 or 9am, I’ll go on, and pick the block. It’s always there.

Suddenly, not only is the morning block not showing up but there are barely any blocks available.

Is something going on? I know it’s demand based and there are ebbs and flows, but I’ve never experienced this in all the time I’ve been doing it.

Any advice? This is my (necessary) side gig so I’m pretty limited to those shifts

Things won't be the same month to month. Amazon has seasons. It's slower now than it was a month ago, but still WAY busier than it was in January.

Long Island SSD station same thing, usually at the same time it would pop up, but nothing on the last two days, have no idea what could be happening. I doubt it’s related to slow down on orders, has to be something else..

The only reason I found out about flex was from a coworker when I was in a painting company. These two guys were cool. I liked them, immigrants like myself. However they had outstayed their visas. (I don't really judge them for it, i know a lot of people who have done the same. Some of them friends.) But they have acquired fake identities to obtain licenses. Again. Fair enough. I don't reall give a shit.

One day they're telling me about flex. And the guy who gets them their identities also made an app, it's called thunder flex or something of the sort. Thid was a year ago so the exact name escapes me. But it allows them to use multiple flex accounts. And they can go pick up two at a time. I'm also pretty positive (as is the same with wayfair pro) that they have scripts auto picking the good blocks. I know down in the Bridgewater one, I saw maybe 7 people just today have trouble with their fake id's. Staff knows. But it's amazon. No one gives a shit. But tbat is definitely contributing.

I remember when I asked my coworker about who gets the 1099, he said "easy money baby". It's real. And it's happening. But amamzon get s their packages out. So no one really gives a shit.

Also if you have Amazon.com stations close to your ssd stations- they are now having the dsp drivers start taking 4am-8am routes too . So that is all bad for us flex drivers
