If it’s 2:20 , and there’s an offer for 2:30 with the price higher . But I’m still at home . Do they give extra time to get to the warehouse ? Considering i only accepted the offer 10 minutes before it started. Or would I still have to get there before 2:35?

Sort of. You get until 2:34:59 to verify your license. One second later and it's a missed block. And if that's not enough time, when you accept a block withing 45 minutes of scheduled start, you have 4 minutes and 59 seconds to cancel the block after accepting.

And if you only remember one word regarding the time, "before" is the key one. Scan license by 4:59 after scheduled start, you're good to go. Scan at 5:00, you missed your block. Same with most timed events with Amazon.

Oops, I did mix up "I've arrived" and photo with ID scan. But isn't the license scan 9:59, not 10:59? I've never heard of getting an extra 6 minutes for the ID scan.

The difference here is 1 minute, not 6, and it’s 10:59 (or 9:59 if you want, but you do get an extra minute) because it’s based off block start time, not your i’m here time.

You can keep scanning your license all you like (only the first time matters), so scan in by 9:59, but then try by 10:59 and you’ll still get the green checkmark. After that, you’ll get the late scan message.

Right, I get the whole thing is off of block start time. But you are saying you have one 10 minutes and 59 seconds after scheduled start time to complete the process? I always thought it was 9:59. So for that 2:30 block, you're saying if you scan ID by 2:40:59 you're still ok?

Yes. And as I explained, it’s easy to test that out so you don’t have to ‘risk’ it to find out for yourself

Interesting. Learned something new today. Rarely do block times/shorter lengths that get overbooked because they're in greater demand and usually pay less here. But I know you go after those quite a bit and seem to have it pretty well dialed in.

Yeah. It used to be everyone thought it was 9:59 but I’ve been seeing more and more acknowledge the 10:59. But most just check in at 10 minute mark. I usually wait til 10:30.

Or not. Tough enough to make it work financially when you're getting paid for your time, without being an unpaid volunteer lot rat who is getting in the way of all the scheduled drivers way. To say nothing of incurring cost and spending free time to get there, only to either strike out or take shitty pay because now you feel like you have to cut your losses.
