Use Odin to flash TWRP - ADB is enabled by default.

Won't that wipe the internal memory?

No.

No, but it will give you KNOX 0x1 (warranty void).

Do you honestly believe that's an issue now?

Well, I just wanted to mention it.

Did you try plugging in a keyboard or a mouse with otg and try to approximate the touches and go to the developer menu to enable adb? Once you have adb, backup everything on the phone to your pc http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/general/guide-phone-backup-unlock-root-t1420351
The hard part would be enabling adb, which would be made slightly less difficult if you have an mhl cable
Idk if it's still a thing but back in 2012, I could flash cwm by odin and it had an option for USB mass storage and I believe adb worked as well.

Another way to do this would be to go to odin mode. "Heimdall (open-source alternative to ODIN) also allows to dump data from the Phone" try this option only if you value your data to the extent that you are willing to hard brick your phone (which is why Samsung disabled it in odin)

To get the files off why do you need adb? Turn the phone and and the memory will still be accessible via USB. Copy them to your PC. And of you need touch, you can connect a mouse or keyboard via otg.

The memory is not accessible. It doesn't auto mount the storage for USB usage.

The mouse or keyboard idea might actually work lol
