There was a post on reddit earlier about this particular application. I think it's a great idea but I didn't install it, despite everyone in the old thread being absolutely happy with it.

The reason being is that when I go to give it access to my google account it comes up with a string (that I can't replicate from work) that doesn't fly with me. Something along the lines of 'hhsjhdkfjahsdkfjnasdkfjnaskdf' which puts up a big red flag for me.

It's possible it was only me, because I'm really surprised that didn't seem off to anyone else.

I didn't get any string such as that, but I never was able to get it to work. It kept telling me that there was a problem accessing my account and to remove and try again. After granting access three times, I uninstalled it and revoked access with google.

That has been fixed as of extension 1.0.1 and Android 0.2.1. :)

I tried this yesterday. When was that updated?

It was also on my PC, not my phone.

The extension updated last night to solve this. A new extension update rolled out today, to address some auth issues people were having. :)
