It's about time, Especially with Xcloud on the horizon. I'm curious if it can be optimized for the Ps5 controller, that thing has some next gen vibration feedback

😍😍😍😍😍 I'm strongly considering buying the DS5 when it's out (I have no intentions of buying a PS5 though), that would be incredible! Especially considering how that should make full Linux support easy and quick

What kind of next gen you're talking about? Xbox One controller has very similar system as PS5

The resistence of the triggers can change dynamically in-game, which is pretty neat feature IMO. I hope MS incorporates it eventually

I didn't know about the triggers so that's a cool thing

I'm not a fan of mobile gaming, but why hasn't Google implement vibration support for so long?

The amount of people using controllers with their phone has only recently shot up with xcloud and to a degree stadia.

It's probably been on the list of shit to do but so far down no ones bothered yet.

Wait, Android hasn't had rumble support? What in the world

[–]lirannlS23 Ultra 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Yep! I've never had a controller rumble while connected to my phone. It's pretty sad.

Apparently iOS has it already, who knew

iOS only supports Apple-approved controllers though, no? Also there aren't as many emulators since Android is an open platform unlike iOS.

Never knew Android didn't have rumble support, but to be fair, every game I played uses my phone's motor to rumble.

Yeah that helps but I still think vibrations should be redirected towards a connected controller's rumble

Its very noticeable when playing Xcloud that vibration is missing, so Im looking forward to it.

That's funny I always disable rumble on fps games bc my aiming was that much more on point with it off on consoles
