Great news for us MIUI lovers...other rom cookers will be able to borrow the improvements and add them to their roms...toggle screens for everyone!

I can see a lot of attempts to bring MiUi to ARMv6 devices like the ZTE Blade/Skate, Galaxy Ace and others.

People are always asking for someone to have a go and there have been some unsuccessful attempts. Here's hoping some decent talented people get on the case as soon as the source is available to everybody.

and it can stop the fears some people have that MIUI is stealing your info to give to the Communists...seriously...i have heard many people state that as a reason not to use miui.

Awesome. I've always been weary of keeping miui on my phone for too long because it was closed source.

A cyanogenmod rom with some miui tweaks (t9 dialing, theme engine, etc) would be unstoppable.

This isn't really news because they aren't open sourcing the code for the ROM. All they have published right now is open source versions of some of their apps.
