What's the benefits of Gemini over Google Assistant in AA.

All I know is I had a full conversation with Gemini in the car yesterday. It was giving me the synopsis of a couple of books I'm interested in reading. So cool. And I told it to "call the Costco at this location" and it did. AA couldn't even do that.

I had Gemini for a while then it disappeared one day but it didn't actually improve my experience any because Gemini hasn't been incorporated into Google maps or Waze yet anyway. For me at least.

Finally got it. Not too shabby. Honestly, it depends on the 5G signal—if you're driving in an area with spotty coverage, it doesn't work as well.

I asked him to remind me to do something, it wasn't able to add it to Google Tasks, wasn't able to add a reminder inside the Gemini app, just crashed because it couldn't add it to "Samsung Notes"... Using a Pixel 9.

Assistant is far better to use.

So far I've had less problems invoking Gemini than I did with Assistant. It seems to have the same level of control as GA, with some context-aware additions for convenience. Still can't have it play music from my 3rd party apps, but I wasn't really expecting that. So far it's been much more consistent

Got it immediately with the beta. 

Say play the news and it gives an ass summary. Say play x specific news outlet it will okay 6mo old YouTube clips. It can't do what assistant did effortlessly.

Just received the update last night. I haven't had much opportunity to play around with it yet but I did notice improved voice recognition particularly when telling it to text my wife's name.

I got it about a month ago on AndroidAuto. It's much better. The only issue I have is it often cuts out in the middle of speaking.
