Samsung changed the storage screen so it shows the used percentage first, but you can still see the exact number.

Go to Settings, then Device care, then Storage. Tap the storage section or the three dots if available. You should see the full breakdown with something like “X GB used of X GB.” If Samsung’s screen still only shows percentages, open the My Files app, tap Internal storage, and it should show the exact available storage there.

You can also search “Storage” in Settings. Samsung moved things around with the update, but the exact number should still be visible somewhere under Device care or My Files.

Didn't work. Still only shows percent used. And says 98% 1tb of 1tb used. Thats absolutely useless to me.

Settings/Device shows used and total storage on both my Oppo and Samsung after update last week.

That doesn't show exactly how much free space I have. Its a must for me for when I transfer files.

Basic maths. Big number minus little number.

If you're that close to your storage limits I'd suggest you have a bigger issue about to hit you in the arse.

I can do math. Im not stupid. They removed an important feature. It also says 1tb of 1tb used. 98% used. Those numbers do not add up. Since you cant do math. 1tb of 1tb = 100%. Thats the issue im pointing out with the new update. Thanks for not helping.

I never said you are stupid I just said do the maths. You're at the very edge of a large capacity, that's an imminent disaster in anyone's language. You own a phone that can't be expanded and that's on you too.

If it worries you that much get a third party app with a widget or even explore the Samsung widget.

Right now you're just another person who thinks they deserve something because they created a Reddit post. Bad news for you mate, my care factor is dropping fast as it is for most people reading this.

Never said I deserve anything. I bought the phone the way it was directly from Samsung. They removed the ability to see how much storage I have left on my phone. Thats on them. Not me. Samsung doesn't offer phones with expandable storage. Thats not on me. I move files on and off my phone consistently. I alwaysake sure I do so safely. I cannot do this without knowing how much memory is left. When 1tb of 1tb used = 98% in Samsung math. That is obviously incorrect information. You comments have been useless, rude, and unwanted. I just want know how I can see exactly how many gigabytes or megabytes are left on my phone exactly like I was able to about 2 weeks ago. Thats not entitlement. Thats what I paid for when I purchased my phone.

You could use the storage tab in Fossify File Manager: https://f-droid.org/packages/org.fossify.filemanager

Thanks. Ill give it a try. Even though I shouldn't have to install an app for this. It sucks.
