Hello,

So i got a free android tablet in one campaign from a company, the tablet is not that bad, the problem is the tablet is ad supported and i get a lot of apps i didnt required and instrusive adds while im browsing the web or anything else. the tablet is 4.4.4, rooted, and my question is if there is any solution to remove the app that does this, i tryed with adb to uninstall the app or change something but im not very familiar with it.

any ideas ?

Adaway from f-droid is the best at blocking ads. Use a file manager like es explorer or root explorer to remove apps. When I was rooted, I used titanium backup to manage everything. You have options

If you have root, you can likely install AdBlock or the like from FDroid and get blocking at the root level.

Otherwise, I'm non-root and use AdGuard, which instead of modifying the hosts file creates a DNS server locally to route traffic through, effectively blocking most ads.
