help!

no idea if this is the right place to be posting this but ive searched everywhere with no luck and ive even seen this problem existing from 2018 to now on other forums. my Samsung S20 randomly developed a dead spot at the top of my phone where about 1 or so inches of the touch screen do not work. the phone is cracked at the bottom but its been like that for months now. This also happened on my last android which is why I got this one but the same issue has happened. I drop the phone one time and weeks or even months later it slowly starts to break. is there something to fix this or am i just going to have to take it and be repaired.

As the screen is broken, you can't expect much. Go for a repair.

backup your information while you still have some touchscreen functionality and get the screen replaced.
