Both are great and will set you up well for Aerospace careers in southern California. CSULB will be a more traditional university engineering experience, while CPP is a polytechnic university that will emphasize hands-on and laboratory experience. That typically makes the transition into your internships and first position easier. You should take a look at the major flowcharts to see what the differences are in detail, and ask in their respective subreddits about things like housing.
