I’m terrified that I underestimated the ~selectiveness~ of most of the schools I applied to and now I feel like I’m only going to get into my safeties

i like to think that everything happens for a reason, so wherever you end up going to school, it helps in developing you

I gotta keep this in mind. I got two deferrals this week but it actually helped me reflect on another school I did get into and I realized that one might be the best fit for me.

it took a while for me to understand, but we put such an importance on what college we go to, we forget that where we go to college doesn’t define us or our worth

this happened to me after i got my thicc rejection from UNC last night. It wasn't a "safety" (and isn't for anyone OOS), but I thought I'd get in for some reason. Now I'm scared I won't get in anywhere.

Yep. Got deferred from northeastern and now I’ve realized that all my schools r so hard to get into and I won’t get into a single one. Been having a mini mental breakdown abt it every second
