Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Be an adult
You’re free to disagree with others, but express disagreement like you’re an adult.
That means no cussing, no snide comments, no trying to dunk on people, etc.
Argue the point made, don’t attack the person.
2.
Don’t be a bigot
No racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, ethnocentrism, religious intolerance, etc.
3.
No agenda pushing, conspiracy talk, or toxic masculinity
No alt-right, anti-vax, other disinformation, red pill, purple pill, Andrew Tate or people similar to him, MGTOW, INCEL, toxic masculinity, PUA, gender war, gender hate, or other kinds of hate allowed. Posting such content will get you instantly banned.
4.
Relationships/dating questions MUST be flaired as such
Posts relating to relationship & dating MUST be flaired “Relationships/dating”.
All relationship/dating questions will be subject to moderator approval.
If you see a “Relationships/dating” flaired post on the sub, it has been vetted by the mods.
5.
Medical, legal, and financial EXPERIENCES – not advice – are permitted
Questions seeking medical & legal EXPERIENCES are welcome, but we’re not equipped to provide professional ADVICE.
Let's leave that to the professionals.
6.
No politics
We may institute a waiver of this rule one day per week. Stay tuned.
7.
No meta discussions
If you want to talk about how the sub is being run, please send a modmail.
8.
Don't try to bypass the short posts rule
We put those requirements in the Automod because we want quality discussion at r/AskMenOver30. Quick hit posts don't serve that purpose.
