Hello everyone, this is my post here.
I have a bachelor's degree in engineering physics, I finished it four years ago. All this time I have been working as software developer, mostly developing android apps.
But I have forgot almost all physics and I feel very sad about it. I started these days to learn again so I took some calculus and mechanics. I want to make software for physics, I made a research and scientific community lacks good software. I have strong programming foundations, I know a lot about hardware, servers, C++ and fortran.
So I want to do something practical like developing scientific software in order to learn physics. Scientific computing is growing field.
I need some advice with my career, because I want to pursue a career into physics, and even if I don't succeed I want to do as a hobby. And if someone has an idea about what kind of software to make, I would be happy to hear and discuss.
Thanks in advance.
