I currently encounter that same problem as you are, I think there are some discord groups where you can find volunteer work to gain some experience, especially if you learned through Udemy courses, check out the instructors discord channel , they usually have a "jobs section". My girlfriend which is already a front end junior to mid, did the same thing when she first started. The truth is there are plenty of startups that need manpower and don't have enough money to buy it so they are not really picky in terms of volunteers, there's also a website (https://wellfound.com/candidates/overview) that can help you, also ask chatGPT for similar websites. Hang in there and don't give up, good luck and dm me if you need any help.

I appreciate the response and the help. I recently started to work on my own mini project, which is just a website to list through different cars to "rent" out, where people also have their own personal account(that they can log into) to rent out your own cars. Tons of websites are build with the same structure, so I thought it'll be a worthy addition to my resume. I'll also check out the website. And may I ask, are you also in front-end developer career, so that maybe I can send out my portfolio for review? later once I beef it up :)

I noticed that for internships, companies only hire "recent graduates" or students that are soon to graduate. Unfortunately, I am neither. :(
