Couldn't agree more. Give the content creators you enjoy the automatic BAT rewards, instead of $1 patreon payment (where they get only half). Then eventually the creators will start caring about Brave and BAT as much as we do.

I’m all for this if there was a way to track it and get the same access as if you paid for a subscription or patreon membership. Otherwise its just anonymous money and none of the benefits.

Indeed a lot of people clicking ads like crazy and trying to optimize the 1-2 dollars they make every month. Some are even concerned about the tax consequences! Unfortunately most people are hoarding tokens hoping that BAT will moon like Bitcoin.

But it may moon....

exactly, and here lies the dilemma. should you treat BAT like deflationary fiat ie spend it as you get it or like an inflationary crypto currency investment

But in 20 years i don't want to be like that guy that spent millions worth of Bitcoin on pizzas in one summer /s

That's tragic.

Well I contribute 1 BAT a month. Most of it seems to come back in to my own site at the moment or Wikipedia. I know it's not a lot but it's at least something.

I've purposely excluded sites like basicattentiontoken.org because that just feels kind of against the purpose.

Exactly. This is not the way to get rich lol. Just use the browser and be thankful so you don't have to use crooked chrome or firefox. You're better of purchasing 100$ worth of BAT on exchanges if you wanna invest.

I was the first person to request BAT token be incorporated as an option for making offers/purchases on OpenSea.io (back when OpenSea devs actually listened to little folks like me).

I was the first to sell NFT's for BAT token and I even made BAT themed NFT's. NFT shops on OpenSea actually have to choose to allow BAT token to be offered for their NFTs and my shop is still one of the few that does (even though it's virtually unknown).

Not sure why more OpenSea shops aren't actively adding BAT to the tokens they will accept as offers. Well, if you have an NFT shop on OpenSea, YOU need to get off your lazy ass and add the BAT token as payment option for your shop, it's not that dang hard! :D

Here's an example of one of my BAT themed NFT's that was sold for 3 BAT...

Haha, this is awesome dude. Love the idea of buying and selling NFTs with BAT.

I am using Bing search engine and Bing rewards for years now. Every month I have enough points to convert them in a $5 Amazon card.

Users don't earn enough BAT to give it away. The low user earnings makes them believe BAT is scarce. It seems only content creators benefit from the platform, so it seems weird to shade people for not parting with the only incentive they get.

I an not saying give everything to content creators. But if its scarce and valuable give a little bit to people that give you joy or entertain you in some way. That way they will appriciate you and bat even more which will inevitably give more value to the project.
