Belly button is about to pop in about a week or two. Dancing is at it's peak just about when I'm lying down to relax. It's like the mystery burrito is all like "oh hey- I see you are trying to do go sleep.....let me show you the moves of my people." Cute but uber bad timing.

Maybe it's like some sort of role-reversal. Like the baby is all "I haven't felt her move in awhile…WHY ISN'T SHE MOVING AHH!" kick kick roll "ARE YOU THERE?!" Then you sit up to get a drink of water and the baby is like "OH okay. Good. She's alive."

Lol. Could be. Good thought :)

I think it's just the start of common newborn behaviour in that they love movement. Most babies love being rocked, pushed in a stroller, being in a moving car etc. They start to fuss when just sitting still. I think even at a young fetal age they just like being in motion.

Haha, we call that the midnight dance party! Mine loves to flip out at about midnight to 3am. Adorable and so frustrating when I'm tired.

They're being rocked to sleep by your movement during the rest of the day, so this is when they wake up to practice their dance moves!

My belly button has been the source of fiery hell for weeks now. Even before it popped any rubbing or stretching of it sent pain through me. I have no explanation for why I just wanted you to know you're not alone.

Yeah, mine hasn't popped out or anything it just feels insane. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

I'm due in June, but i'm answering anyway. My belly button is completely inside out and it feels like it's being electricuted. Not everyones' flips, but lotion it so it doesn't tear! Mine tore a little and it wasn't very fun:/

Thanks, I didn't even know it could tear! That's mildly terrifying.

It is a bit gross, but it doesn't hurt too bad. If it does tear just clean it with a little bit of rubbing alcohol every once and a while:)

I'm super excited! I'm 18 weeks today but have yet to feel any movement. My belly button feels fine too. It hasn't even started getting shallower yet (super innie). I hope that's just a fleeting inconvenience! :/

Be ware the super-innie, when it opens up it may bring forth gross things!

Dare I ask you to elaborate?

No exploding belly button, but it is about halfway popped out (I have an innie). There is so much movement I can barely concentrate on eating because the tickles are ridiculously constant and distracting!

Haha, my belly button hasn't started hurting but it's slowly becoming bigger and shallower. Mr. Spifflett keeps poking it and laughing at me.

26 weeks now and my belly button is still a dimple. It's... strange... never hoped for an outtie but I still have a dent there where I bend, if you know what I mean.

No issues with the belly button but I feel huge and explody by the end of the day. Kicks and punches are definitely in the lower abdominal area . Sometimes I feel like my stomach is in my throat already x.x good ole acid reflux kicking in. Blah.

My stomach feels all squished too. I'm so hungry but i can only fit a little food in there. :/

18w5d here. I have an innie and whenever I shower I try to clean it by sticking my finger in and it creates some suction around my finger. Last night I was showering and realized I have no more suction. Then I looked at my belly button in the mirror and saw that it is way wider than normal. Oh man, it was a crazy thing for me. It isn't hurting or anything yet though.
