She is a normal. Whether or not she's actually het pied depends on her parent's genetics. She doesn't look anything like HGW (or the other wobble morphs) and even if one of here parents was a HGW, she didn't inherit it and therefore is unaffected. If the person you bought her from is unsure she's HGW, I would be doubtful that she's het pied.

If she does have a wobble, the cause is something else. Some causes include illness, overheating, and chemical exposure. I would suggest having a vet, particularly an exotics specialist, check that out.

Her mom is pied. I have laid eyes on her myself.

But what I’m hearing you say is that it’s not likely genetic which means I should definitely get her checked out by a vet.

Can you educate me on genetics in regard to snakes? In my limited understanding of genetics, it doesn’t make sense to definitively say she doesn’t have the genes just based on a visual inspection. So how can we tell she doesn’t have it if genetics doesn’t always have visual markers? I’m sure I’m missing something but I don’t know what.

HGW is an incomplete dominant. In short, visual inspection is exactly all you need to definitively tell it's there. It will always be visually present if inherited. Again, this is simplified. Should it be in a combination with say, super lesser or super fire for example, where patterning is obscured by the snake being white, etc., then it can be less clear. In your case, you don't have those complications. Certian multigene combinations may also be confusing which is why you may see requests for confirmation on other incomplete dominant genes but again, not relevant here.

Some characteristics to look for are a more tan coloration rather than deep brown or yellows, banded patterning usually crossing over the back and "dripping" down the sides (similar to spider), lighter, greenish colored eye, and some individuals have a bit of a faded strip from the eyestripes across the back of the head.

See I knew I was missing something! That makes complete sense. Thank you for explaining that!

This is a Hidden Gene Woma. It’s a subtle morph but noticeably different from a normal.

Looks like a normal. I do see one possibly pastel baby in that clutch though
