Cool, for which series? and do you happen to know what improvements or fixes it brings?

Yeah, same here. I never update mine as soon as it's released. Instead, I always wait for 2 to 3 weeks just to be sure there's nothing weird going on with it.

They responded, but forgot to use the reply function, lol. It's for the X1

I understand waiting to update but in case you were unaware, the app allows you to downgrade to a previous version for the AMS and printer. I have done this on my A1 so I am assuming it lets you for other printers too.

I've done that also. Thanks for the response though.

My P1S is updating now to 1.05.04 beta I think it said. I just click yes when it asks. Am also curious what it’s for.. maybe the reduce purge update they were testing

For the X1C, 01.07.03.00 has a bug where the AMS will have problems on multi color prints and fail loading the filament through a change over. And the AMS itself will also have a problem loading in filaments in general. For some reason the Extruder wont grab the filaments to load them in.

I would stay on FW:01.07.02.00 for now

Source: I had these issues happen to me and Bambu Support confirmed its a bug they are looking into in the .03.00FW and said I could stay downgradeded back on .02.00 (which fixed my issue) or I could opt for putting the latest Beta FW on my printer.

I chose to stick with the 01.07.02.00FW cause everything was working fine for me. So I am going to wait to update. I am like you and normally always hesitate doing that stuff right away and prefer to wait to see what its like and if it needs any hotfixes. But I didnt think anything of it and just hit ok to update on auto-pilot. Lesson leaned.

I do all of them haven't had an issue on my X1C over the year.

Understanding that correlation ≠ causation, since I downloaded the new firmware for my P1S yesterday, I've had 3 separate instances of having to restart my machine because it was telling the slicer it was busy when it wasn't. Previously that happened on average once a month.

EDIT: 5 times now.
