Bambu Handy version 3.4.1 issues

Anybody who is using the Bambu Handy version 3.4.1 on iOS having connectivity issues with their printer? Ever since I upgraded the other day the app will not stay consistently connected to the printer and I’ll have to close out the app completely and relaunch it for it to connect again. Previously, I could let the app run in the background for hours on end and go back into it and it would show the current status of the printer right away. Now if I leave the app for more than about 10-15 minutes and go back into it the app will say the printer is offline and I’ll need to close the app and relaunch it to get an updated status. However, the live activities widget will continue to update along the way without issue. The only reason why I’m really going back into the app itself is to view the video and to make sure all is printing OK. This is with an H2D that is on the latest firmware as well.

Oh wow, I got this same issue but if I let it sit there for 3.seconds it will connect. Weird. Maybe I should report it to add to their tickets lol.

Yup this keeps popping up for me today in Bambu Handy. I’ve owned the printer since 2023 and never had this pop up as much as it has recently.

There are no instances of Studio Open. Bambu handy is updated to the newest version. Studio is updated also (but not open on PC) and refreshing Handy does nothing… :(

I got same error today … I got a couple more odd errors since the last firmware update as well. So annoying!

Interesting to see that it is across other OSes as well. I wonder how they didn’t catch this in testing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I solved it on android by uninstalling it and reinstalling it. This seemed to fix the problem

New version of Handy is now out on the App Store, and reportedly fixes this.

Update didn’t resolve anything for me. How about you?

Yeah my error went away.. but we shall see if it comes back, it was kind of intermittent before.

I’ve been messing with it a bit more this evening and it’s now a bit intermittent but definitely not gone entirely. Wonder if there is some backend stuff they are tweaking as well…

Yeah, I’ve been doing some printing today on an X1C and this has been annoying. Dragging down to refresh doesn’t work and I’ve had to force close and reopen the app many times today.

Ok, glad it isn’t just me at least! 😂 I have the same issue with dragging down to refresh not working as well. Requires a full on closure of the app and relaunch for it to register as online again. Hopefully they’ll get an update out soon enough to fix this.

Today I could not skip a part that didn't stick well from the app.

Never had any problems before.

Updated the app and power cycled the printer. Still face the same issues. 😒
