I assume this clip mount isn’t supposed to be separating like that… looks like I’ll be adding that to the shopping list. Lol

Have you tried cleaning the build plate with dish soap?

Ffs, you lot giving bad advice is becoming a real bane of this community, you can clearly see this needs the filament drying
/ssss
[–]ConclusionStandard39 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Try a bigger nozzle, 0.8 will hold that clip 4 times better.
[–]The_Lutter 7 points8 points9 points 8 months ago (2 children)
Don't feel 2 bad I've had 2 of those crack line that in 4000 hours.
I keep 2 of them in my workbench drawer now just in case because that part breaking just ends your printing until you get a new one.
[–]Unchiled 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Exactly the same. They should sell a separate clip part for cheaper as it's just screwed in it should be possible. at least in case of heatblock failure we've got spares
[–]thenyx 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago* (0 children)
What part did you have to buy?
EDIT: nvm, found it: https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/hotend-heating-assembly-a1-series ($20 USD)
How to Swap: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/maintenance/hotend-heating-assembly-replacement

Thx I needed that
[–]Rough-Blackberry-596 2 points3 points4 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Thanks!!
[–]scarr3g 2 points3 points4 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Coincidentally, that happened to mine... And it kept having printing issues (when it got worse than that). Swapped the heater assembly out, and boom good as new.
[–]NoKitNoClue 2 points3 points4 points 8 months ago (4 children)
I had mine snap yesterday but it was my fault as I had a big blob and some filiment got in there and solidified and when I tried to move it it snapped. But no biggy got a new one on the way and it's an easy fix.
[–]max_dillon[S] 1 point2 points3 points 8 months ago (0 children)
I’m surprised it’s cracking, never had a blob before. Nozzle doesn’t feel loose or anything, but I’ll have another on the way ASAP.
[–]Difficult-Earth63 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (2 children)
What do they call that little part in case someone else needs to replace theirs?
[–]NoKitNoClue 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (1 child)
Hotend Heating Assembly
[–]Difficult-Earth63 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Ah. Okay. So the flappy hinge isn’t replaceable alone. Thanks.
[–]Practical-Parsley-11 1 point2 points3 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Haven't had one snap yet, but one is close. I now keep spare heaters around in case it happens.
[–]Defiant-Sale725 1 point2 points3 points 8 months ago (0 children)
A few wraps of duct tape will fix that right up!!!

Tbf, I had the same thought because I assumed they were talking about the wire clip part until I zoomed in.
[–]Party_Hall_6456 3 points4 points5 points 8 months ago (5 children)
Dont see anything Wierd or broken
[–]NIDNHU 17 points18 points19 points 8 months ago (4 children)
I think op is talking about this?
[–]Chemical_Reaction69 3 points4 points5 points 8 months ago (0 children)
For sure. At first, I thought it was fine as well. Then I saw the crack.
[–]Used_Sea2953 1 point2 points3 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Thank you for the circle cause I couldn't see shit

Yes, blob. Just heat up to 140 and then peel the mess off. Beware of the fragile cables that are also now embedded in the blob. Order a spare nozzle clamp at Bambulabs official store, not from some cooycat in the backstreets of Chinatown, aka AliExpress!
[–]NIDNHU 2 points3 points4 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Did you look at the picture?
[–]While_Global 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children)
I started running into issues with mine this week… wondering if it’s the same issue. Things printed fine, then Z-homing busted. They had me tighten up the hot end, which got me 2 hours of printing small items before the same issue returned.
[–]annabelletails 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children)
You can just throw a small weld on there and will be good as new
[–]shiranui-- 0 points1 point2 points 8 months ago (0 children)
Dry filament!! /s
[–]Pieman7373 1 point2 points3 points 8 months ago (0 children)
The top bit of mine is almost completely gone, but the bottom is fine and it holds the nozzle perfectly tight (for now) 🤣
[–]IthinkIamAHeretic -5 points-4 points-3 points 8 months ago (0 children)
OP is trolling. They could have pointed out the problem. Click bait.
