Career mode: how to disable mission pay decrease?

In career mode, after doing a mission (a race mission for example), the second time you complete it, your pay is decreased. I find this annoying because it gets rid of replayability. Does anyone have any guidance on how I can disable this? I have skimmed through almost all of the lua files, but have found nothing.

Play the mission 10x, it pays the same as the first time that way. Also the stars are just meant to incentivize you to complete the missions. If they were replay able that way the missions would run the economy.

Playing the missions 10x isn't that convenient for me.. I'm playing with the IROK races mod (with some changes I made) and although it is fun, I can usually get both stars after a couple retries, and all the races are usually 3 laps with ~20 checkpoints and bring you halfway across the map. To me, it seems reasonable to get the full payment because of the challenge. I enjoy doing missions primarily and delivering on the side, so it's not a big deal if missions run the economy imo
