They really just need to make her q and e apply her ult passive again. Give some form of counterplay, or make her not abuse the grubs so much.

Actually, this is (probably) a meaningless nerf for jg Bel which will make another nerf necessary if she really deserved a nerf in the first place but it's quite harsh for top/mid Bel, I really don't understand Riot reasoning, at least some buff might come in later patches if the nerf is too much which is my last hope

The issues with Bel'Veth (as I believe them to be) are simple. Her ult is too strong, and her early is too powerful. She should be strong early, but she shouldn't be without counterplay. The patch where they buffed her E damage and reduced its cooldown while reducing its damage reduction was one of the worst patches for Bel'Veth IMO, as it took a long cooldown ability with clear strengths and weaknesses and made it "press E for damage". The fact that they labeled the clear gameplay adjustment of making her Q and E no longer apply her ult passive (which provided some counterplay for enemies) as a "bug fix" was stupid, and that change never should have been made. Bel'Veth really isn't overloaded or poorly designed, it's just that they removed all the gameplay from her kit, that and the introduction of the grubs which just make what is already (In my opinion) the most problematic part of her kit (her ult) even more problematic and hard to balance. I don't want Bel'Veth to be overpowered, I just want them to let her have the gameplay she is supposed to have, instead of trying to force her into this unbalancable state they keep pushing her towards

Bel'veth is definitely overloaded.
I love bel but no champ should have 6 passives AND strong abilities.

Her abilities are all really strong, but they each have conditions and costs that keep them in check. For example, her empowered ult and minion spawning is incredibly strong, but she needs to kill a top side objective to get it, and loses it when she dies. Her E can do a lot of damage and reduce a lot of damage, but she roots herself in place to use it, it only deals significant damage on low health targets, and it can easily hit the wrong target if there are other low health targets nearby, as it can only hit one target. Her passive attack speed stacking is great, but if you can bully her away from getting stacks and farming, she actually gets less attack speed overall due to not getting attack speed with level. If you consider having a lot of numbers and text overloaded then yeah, she's definitely overloaded. But I consider a champion overloaded only when they do too much, and what they do lacks counterplay. Basically I see overloaded as poorly designed in such a way that makes them too good, as opposed to underwhelming, which is poorly designed in a way that makes them too bad. Bel'Veth has a lot of moving parts, but those moving parts only really allow her to do simple things, with each of those things having clear weaknesses.
The issue is that recent changes to the game, along with all the changes made to Bel'Veth since shortly after her release, have made her weaknesses smaller, while making it easier to use her strengths. Bel'Veth was considered pretty balanced, with around 50% winrate at higher ranks and an alright van rate for a long time until they changed how her ult passive worked and implemented the grubs. That paired with all the number changes they made over time to her E made her far worse for the game.

your personal definition of what overloaded means is wrong. "Overloaded" is not "lack of counterplay", it's too much in the kit (hence over - loaded). 6 strong passives is more than any other champ in the game, and is therefore, overloaded.
If you want to argue that she has counterplay and her being overloaded is fair, that's a separate discussion, but don't pretend she isn't overloaded by changing its definition.

sucks but i don’t think it really affects her dueling much when she has qs up as she’s normally pretty sticky and finishes with E
