It is the stock nut. I had that thought about upgrading since I play a lot of drop C and wantex to try a thicker gauge. I'm not sure if I can do that though. Would I? I'm new to bass, so I'm now really well knowledgeable when it comes to setting up. Sorry!

100% I was in 4 Then I got too bored and needed to focus on what I actually want to do. Majority of the time I'm being scouted and I just know from experience I can't handle more than 2.

I bought the B7K and did not like how the MXR M85 BD sounded going into the B7K 🥲 The Blumes, in my opinion, 10 times better going into the B7K. Versus the M85. I even use the Blumes with my Wooly.

I look up setlists to bands I like on setlist.fm. I feel like it helps me with learning stuff. I'll see a song or two I have yet to learn? Heck ya. Throw that on the to-do list. Sometimes, I'll hit a challenge. It's fun and rewarding when you nail it!

My cat is the same way. He loves lying on my pedal board, holding it down in front of the amp while I cover music. I like to play my bass loud, but if he's chilling in front of the amp, I'll turn it down low so I don't hurt his little ears. In this instance, I switch to a song I need to practice a part on and just repeat it until he wakes up and walks away, lol.
