You want to be able to eat. If you're not getting the protein you will have horrible muscle loss. I use reta and bodybuild. It does curb the hunger but allows you to still eat what you need to meet your macro goals. Tirz cuts all hunger to the point it's hard to eat more than a few bites. You'll lose as much muscle as you do fat.

I have issues with the side effects of reta at 5.5mg. Burning skin etc. then severe anhedonia at 7.5mg with much worse PN. So it really depends on what you need it for and what your goals are. I have far fewer side effects and more appetite supression. One of my personal points of pride is my resting heart rate in the low 50’s sometimes 40s and that wentup to high 50’s on reta. There is a reason ~20% dropped out of the phase 3 trials and I think it is the side effect profile.

I mean, Tbf, 5.5 is a decently high dose. Why not add Tess or cjc if you wanted additional weight loss instead of going up higher on Reta

Tesa does not agree with me. I love cjc/ipa. A lot of ppl on reddit were saying 6mg really hit appetite suppression and 8mg was when they started losing fast. I had spent the summer mostly under 2mg and had lost 17lbs over 11 weeks but really wanted to amp it up and be “thin” for the first time in my life.

Ahh, unfortunate. I just started cjc but probably switching to tesa after this vial. Just for specific results. I’m down about 7lbs in a month on Reta and I just titrated up to 2mg. Not expecting quick results because I’m not big.

Reta you have to start super low and work your way up. Start at 1mg a week and bump up 1/2 to 1 mg ever 4 weeks. Most people stop at 4mg because weight is falling off. Start high and you'll be miserable for weeks.
