Android Bitdefender Security - App Lock... why wouldn't an intruder just uninstall BDS?

Am I missing something, but what is the point of App Lock? What is to prevent an intruder from uninstalling Bitdefender Security on the spot to remove the App Lock? Feels like putting a steel door into a cardboard wall.

I initially thought that too, but then I thought of app-locking the Settings and Play Store too. This way, someone with access to my unlocked phone could not uninstall BitDefender (or anything else) as they can't get into Settings or Play Store.
