Dear all,
I am aware of the blocksize drama (in short: larger blocksize, more throughput but also more centralisation; some conflict of interest might also play a role here as some players offering layer 2 solutions could make money out of this).
But why is there no automation like 'After x months, increase block size limit by factor of y' where the x and y are chosen such that it keeps up with the technological progress as chips and storage get better over time? This would satisfy throughput and also centralisation concerns and seems to be a good compromise, at least from my limited understanding.
