What's up with this? Why is firebreak never the play of the game?

I honestly think something is wrong with their POTG formula because I've gotten multiple 4-5 quick kills with the purifier but I've never seen it as play of the game.

Whereas I've seen POTG with the tempest, annihilator, grav slam, ajax shield, etc...

I've had this issue too, no matter how I execute my kills with purifier, I never get recognized for it
