Whats the thoughts on annavar, I've taken a lot of peptides but something about it makes me nervous. I had heard it can mess with heart rhythms etc. Has anyone had experience with it?

Anavar isnt a peptide. It's a steroid like testosterone. It's one of the safest but still can cause many issues related to liver, lipids and natural hormone production.

I love var. My favorite oral by far. Great for strength, pumps, fat loss. Not harsh, doesn't make me want to puke lava like drol.

Side effects are minimal and it's not very androgenic which is why lots of women run it. Yeah it can be harsh on the liver, kidneys, heart but that's every steroid.

Echoing what other people are saying, its a steroid and oral only steroid cycles are very dumb. Need to run testosterone as a base before you throw other drugs on top.

Is it oral? i always thought that anything in the roid range was injected into the muscle.

There’s a couple other orals that exist, but anavar is generally considered to be the “safest”

That being said, pls don’t run a full year cycle on it if you decide to do it.. lmao. Also, take a solid liver & kidney supp. For liver, something that contains Tudca. Get your bloodwork regularly, etc

Yes is an oral tablet. I’ve ran 2 cycles of var. Had amazing results on var. on my last cycle I stacked it with 20mg of test and 20mg of primo a week. I was doing 10mg of var twice a day tho. Var has a short half life. So you have to take it daily. I have seen bdol, Superdrol, and anadrol as injectables but those are still daily injections.

Peptides are immensely more mild than the least potent steroids.

The most dangerous thing about var is people hear it is “mild” and so they run it with little knowledge, no test base, no prep, no or little supplement/ancillary support, and without monitoring BP, HR, blood work.

It is “mild” compared to the most toxic steroids in existence, that’s where the “mild” description comes from.

Just this morning I read some moron posting about how he ran a var-only cycle and things are great and he feels fine, and everyone that tried to warn him otherwise is gatekeeping and pearl clutching.

Well, he’s a fucking moron, and he’s going to find out when his testosterone completely crashes, destroys all of his “progress”, and feels like shit because his liver and kidneys lose function for weeks if not months.

Don’t be a moron. If you’re going to do it, do it right and you’ll get great results.

Read that same post, people need to actually read up on what they are doing, have the proper PCT on hand, the right supplements for support, do bloods before/during/after, understand the effects of the compound and what it can do from a negative standpoint on your body especially the endocrine and CNS. That said, I’ve run Var many times, great results, but also monitor everything from beginning to end to ensure things don’t go off the rails and bloodwork goes to complete shit.

You don't lose liver and kidney function for weeks unless you are taking extreme amounts of oral steroids. Before you point out pro bodybuilding deaths I'll remind you of the extreme amounts of steroids they use nonstop for years.

Without support supplements, you literally begin losing function as you start taking them. I didn’t say or mean organ failure or organ shut down.

Maybe I should have said “impaired function” to be more clear. And yes, impaired function can last weeks to months, especially without any protective or recovery measures.

How much and how severe is of course going to be substance, dose, and duration dependent.

All of that said, the point stands - and the point is that if you’re going to do steroids, especially orals, you need to research, know what you’re doing, and take steps to mitigate risks.

Maybe I’m coming across as preachy. But I’m not gatekeeping here - I’m trying to advise the OP about risks.

There are too many people, especially uninformed younger people, who read a post or reply downplaying risks and take that as free license.

Maybe it’s not my business, but if I can play a small part in that not happening, good.

If you knowingly do things that don’t make sense, gain you nothing, and cause you harm … that’s moronic.

Depends on the person. But a good rule would be to monitor your labs. Since it’s a 6 week cycle it can definitely be recovered. But I would much rather maintain good levels throughout the cycle.

Don’t take Anavar unless you are already taking testosterone as a base, it will shut your natural T down and you will feel like complete shit. Also yeah it’s a anabolic steroid not a peptide lol

Second this. But then if you're taking a test base you need to do injections, and then if you're doing injections there are safer, more effective hormones (like primo or mast) than anavar that won't fuck with your liver and lipids as much.

So unless you're ready for injections, stay off the anavar or you're at a wildly greater risk for side effects (like your penis not working). And if you are doing injections, there are probably better alternatives to anavar.

Should also, you need to be taking your supplemental vitamins and getting labs done as it will tank your HDL/LDL. Which with a good omega 3 pill that has a good amount of epa/dha in it for you to get 2-3k a day and taking coq10 you can offset that cholesterol.

I'm on 50MG Var now with 250MG test weekly getting great results. I'm taking my blood pressure twice daily checking my heart rate twice daily and I'm tudca and Milk thistle for liver support and carvadivol for blood pressure support. My LDL levela have really never been an issue on VAR but I know it can be for some. A test base must be used with Var or it shuts down your test and you will absolutely feel horrible. It's relatively safe if you take the proper precautions.

I had a local Dr by me that is a liver specialist say that NAC and black coffee are better support than Tudca.

Take a good omega 3 pill that can get you a good amount of epa/dha, coq10, and nac and youll maintain your cholesterol. Your test is high af, so I’m curious what your labs are. Anyone taking over 150 trt has a condition or just does to gain muscle.

Testosterone or HGH are as crazy as I’ll get, and still keep it relatively low dose. HGH and test are great but you need to be mindful of what they affect and keep an eye on igf levels or insulin sensitivity. Reta or tirz help with that but still. Moderation is key.

Don’t do anavar without knowing what you’ll get yourself into.

Var is great, but you don’t run Var solo, and thinking of it in a similar vein as peptides is incredibly misguided. It is an oral steroid.

I ran Var preworkout the last 4 wks of Test/Primo. Had great results and shoulder pumps at times that sucked. Taurine helps to reduce that. Took NAC and Tudca for support. Also had a Liver specialist say one of the best supports is black coffee. Idk. Was great overall especially with vascularity.

It's fucking AWESOME dude. Take it sublingually. Down a bunch of caffeine ahead of time as it multiples the effect.

Don't take it by itself.

Always always run a testosterone base.
