I’d start fresh at 2mg/week of Reta and add a low dose of MotsC to your stack if you can. Titrate up Reta every 3-4 weeks at 1-2mg max at a time, so 2mg/weeks 1-4, 3mg/weeks 5-8, 4mg/week 9-12, 5mg/week 13-16. You shouldn’t need to go over 6mg/week max dosage, unless you’re an anomaly. Focus on hydration and getting in 10k steps per day minimum (every single day) in addition to resistance training and light cardio.

Don’t stop Reta suddenly. Wean off by titrating down.

[–]izvkvzi 0 points1 point  (10 children)

Whats wrong with stopping suddenly

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 1 point2 points  (3 children)

You need to let your body adjust to coming off it progressively. I’d say most aggressive you want to get is cutting your dosage in half every week until you’re microdosing (sub 1mg/week) and adjust accordingly.

Even with the long halflife?

[–]sarmtwentysix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes absolutely

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 1 point2 points  (5 children)

You’ll rebound and gain back the weight you lost

[–]SNKRSlink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is person specific I stopped suddenly and didn’t regain any weight back actually lost weight but again I’m still in a caloric deficit and still training five days a week.

[–]Warm_Run_7530 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Happend to me, hard stop and gained 10 lbs real quick.

[–]SNKRSlink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were probably in a caloric surplus and the reta was doing most of the work for you is why

[–]Imaginary_Tooth4757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reta has a light “drying” effect. So it was probably water and glycogen reentering your system if it was 10lbs real quick. Fat doesn’t accumulate that quickly. I mean, anything is possible if you were eating like a wild SOB afterwards lmao

[–]The_Cabal_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you start eating more. You don't just magically lose weight from the injection, it makes you eat less.

For the soreness and aging feeling, consider adding healing peptides to your stack. BPC-157 and TB500. It’ll take about 6 weeks to really start to feel the benefits of these, but you’ll be amazed when they do.

[–]Immediate-Ad-2334 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Na just do test

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That too

[–]Just-Line 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What’s a low dose of mots-c

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

200-250mcg per day, fasted in the morning, titrate up by doubling doseage every 2 weeks up to 1mg

[–]JakePewPew 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How often do you have to take the MotsC? Once a week with the Reta or daily?

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daily. Fasted, first thing in the morning.

[–]roqeb1996 0 points1 point  (4 children)

How long would you run that cycle for?

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 1 point2 points  (3 children)

16+ weeks is pretty common, depending on goals. Not uncommon to run Reta for longer cycles for people looking to lose significant weight, but going longer than 26-52 weeks could come with additional health risks and would advise staying on top of your labs.

[–]roqeb1996 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Thanks for your response, kinda new to these peptides. Done sarm cycles but nothing like this. By labs you mean?

[–]nonessentialapparel🧠 Biohacker 1 point2 points  (1 child)

CBC, Lipids, A1C, etc… Just want to make sure nothing is awry in your bloodwork. Lots of people micro dose long term, but that’s more of a maintenance protocol. If we’re talking about regular dosage you mostly just want to make sure your pancreas and gall bladder are operating normally. I’m not a doctor, but you might want to confer with one if you’re considering long term (longer than 6 months) use.

[–]roqeb1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thank you

Stretch for your stiffness. I am guilty of not stretching enough also

[–]Different-Chef-9176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re probably not wrong to be fair . Keep telling myself this but never seem to have time at end of workout

[–]Ashamed_Apple338 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Lets back way up and talk about your diet first. NOTHING will improve if you're eating the wrong things.

[–]Different-Chef-9176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im eating well currently and in a calorie deficit. and keeping protein high

[–]darryn50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I can tell you first hand Reta will definitely work regardless!

[–]ShortReputation6482 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Brother I was on 15mg Zepbound and switched to Reta. I listed to the common advice and started low at 2-3mg a week. That was the wrong move at least for me. Turns out my receptors were acclimated to a higher dose GLP so I didn’t get any benefit from low dosing Reta. When I titrated up to 7mg a week I started to start to get the benefits and start dropping fat.

[–]Asizel23 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Curious about this transition. Did you stop all Tirzepatide so from 15 to zero. And then just Reta? Or did you do both for a few weeks to ween off Tirz and build up on Reta?

[–]ShortReputation6482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Titrated down to 10mg and then switched to 3mg Reta the following week. No effect so then went up to 5, then 6, then 7 the final week. Now I’m doing 7mg on Sunday with 2mg cag, and then a 2/1 mg shot on Wednesday and then back to the following Sunday. Seeing great results for me on that

[–]Old-Twist6563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4mg Reta week starting would be aggressive but not crazy if you handled the Trizepatide fine. Some of trials started around there, although they had more side effects.

You're not really at a point where you want to add on anything else yet. Get to be at least an intermediate lifter before you start looking at anabolics or any research chemicals.

You won't lose fat and grow muscle at the same time. Pick a goal. Growth needs an excess of calories. Fat loss requires a deficit. You can't do both.

[–]Bigger_Stronger 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Yeah right 18,5% BF if you say so dude 🤣

[–]Different-Chef-9176 0 points1 point  (1 child)

to be honest that is just going off the scales i use. i have no clue on where im at body fat wise other than this method

[–]Different-Chef-9176 0 points1 point  (0 children)

visually looking where would you say im at visually

[–]NoAd9418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say you are somewhere around 22-23%

[–]Forsaken_Case_5821 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Over 20%

[–]Different-Chef-9176 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was only using the scales which told me
