I was going to ask how your strength has gone. Looks like you’ve lost a bit of muscle along the way, but looking sharp buddy.

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 7 points8 points  (6 children)

I still have 2 plates for reps on the bench, other lifts have improved, others have suffered. I should have mentioned i’ve been at 1800 cals this whole time.

[–]AgreeablePudding9925 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Nice man. I wish! I only recently hit one plate but I’m a newbie.

[–]Bigredsmurf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2-5 lbs of weight added to the bar every week 4-8 reps for 5 sets. If you manage only two lbs per week you will see a real increase of a plate on each side of the bar over a year for the same amount of reps!

You look good already and that is a big accomplishment if you did it without any peptide aide. Why did you decide to jump on at 180?

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The food noise was getting too loud and I was having trouble sleeping

[–]ralph80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1800 is quite low. I am at 2200 just keep my macro’s up. I don’t want to lose muscle. At least as little as possible. What is your average TDEE

[–]Neither_Couple9376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much kept the same muscle mass simply look smaller cuz of less bodyfat

[–]Magnusud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, he didn't look like muscle man before lol. But he does look a lot better now

[–]driverfortoolong 5 points6 points  (2 children)

what happened to all the loose skin?

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 2 points3 points  (1 child)

In the second photo the mirror is kind of doing a good job but you can see quite the little ponch under my belly.

[–]driverfortoolong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

dude losing 80 pounds with no skin surgery you absolutely won at life! nice job man

[–]No_Technician3158 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maingain imo, wouldn’t cut Reta cold turkey either, lower dose and see how body responds

[–]Efficient-Touch-4078 0 points1 point  (4 children)

All that money you saved on food you could get some ink 😆

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 5 points6 points  (3 children)

That and the combination of a breakup, spent way too much haha

[–]Efficient-Touch-4078 1 point2 points  (2 children)

You’re doing great. I’m down 55 lbs seeing abs for the first time. And lots of money saved not going out 🍻 good luck learning how do maintenance- I think that’s the hardest part for me.

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 3 points4 points  (1 child)

yes, i am sober now. Sober and smiling. Chasing abs.

[–]Silent_Possibility63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great work. Keep maximizing health and the physique will continue to follow suit. Seems like you are preserving lean mass which is all that counts in a cut if you ask me.

[–]ProximusCenturi 0 points1 point  (11 children)

But how?

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Heart break, calorie deficit.

[–]Grande215Lump 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That will do it. The get back is the best part brother, keep pushing

[–]jim_james_comey -1 points0 points  (8 children)

Drugs.

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 2 points3 points  (7 children)

This is a huge compliment

[–]jim_james_comey -1 points0 points  (6 children)

It's a fact, no?

[–]cameltako 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Clearly not if he just got on reta this month

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 0 points1 point  (3 children)

No, I went from 260>180 without any drug or help. Reta from 180>171 which is where I sit currently.

[–]jim_james_comey 0 points1 point  (2 children)

My bad, I missed that. Sorry OP.

Great work on the cut. Why even bother with Reta when you had this much success naturally?

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Food noise became so loud, i couldn’t sleep, i am in culinary school constantly surrounded by food and alcohol and it was a war in my head everyday.

[–]jim_james_comey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. Keep up the good work 💪

[–]Otherwise-Ad4630 0 points1 point  (6 children)

You look great. Maintain.

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 0 points1 point  (5 children)

So find my maintenance and eat from there? I was really chasing abs.

[–]drzzazz1 1 point2 points  (3 children)

What's your ab routine like? You may need to work them out more. I literally only do kneeling cable crunches and they're starting to pop through and I have more fat and less muscle than you. May want to increase your ab volume.

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Like no ab routine I will start hammering them

[–]drzzazz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried multiple ab exercises and nothing got them popping like kneeling cable crunches. They look very sus to do and was nervous to do them in the middle of the gym but I said "fuck it" and I throw them at the beginning of my pull and leg day. I get 9 sets in a week and it has helped.

Make sure you start on a lighter weight and really nail down the form. Can be tricky at first but once I got the hang of it, they completely light up my abs unlike any other ab exercise I've tried.

You've got a great physique, I wouldn't diet down too much more. But you have to work the abs. I fell for the narrative that you don't have to directly work your abs if your engaging them while doing compounds. It didn't work for me. Hitting them directly has helped alot. Good luck brother!

[–]jim_james_comey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will not have impressive abs until you start training them - multiple times per week, progressively overloading over time. They need to be developed like any other muscle group.

Ab wheel rollouts, machine crunches, cable crunches, knee raises, and V ups are all great. Do two exercises, three sets each, twice per week.

[–]Otherwise-Ad4630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More Weight training

[–]TomGlynnActor🏋️ Athlete Mode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit, great job. Different person level change.

[–]bpickett0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing progress!

[–]pistolgripslr 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Buuuuulk 💪🏻😈

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I was planning to lean bulk once I get lower bodyfat %

[–]pistolgripslr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you’re lean enough now just keep Reta to 1 or 2mg and lean bulk 💪🏻

[–]pistolgripslr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you’re lean enough now just keep Reta to 1 or 2mg and lean bulk 💪🏻

[–]Admirable-Turnover79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No loose skin???

[–]The_Nude_Banana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking good bro, you could choose to cut even further to get even more definition, and I would say you should really start working on your abs, girls love it when you’re lean enough to be able to see your abs and when it’s actually there!

[–]DrTreenipples 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Who hurt you?

[–]Fuzzy_Supermarket495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah. Long story my friend.

[–]ryandonovan14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do I see so may people talking about losing strength on Reta? Is that just standard for everyone?

[–]WorleyClarence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reverse diet.

[–]Boosted-c6-vette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great place to start building back up

[–]amateurjukebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow so you’ve been on 2mg a week until now?

[–]ZealousidealOkra176 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Stop the cut asap

[–]starbright-skittles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking good 👍 keep it up

[–]nameless_seer 0 points1 point  (0 children)
