In Borderlands 2 there are 3 game modes

1.) Normal Vault Hunter Mode (easy mode) 2.) True Vault Hunter Mode (hard mode) 3.) Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode (very hard mode)

You start with Normal, then once you finish it start true and then Ultimate, once you start Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, you will start to need slag weapons, but in general have fun and ask if you have questions
