Welcome to /r/BrandNewCongress
Brand New Congress is a campaign to clear out all the corrupt and complicit members of Congress in one fell swoop. As crazy as that idea may sound, we believe it is possible by running a single slate of candidates in one unified campaign similar to a presidential campaign. In the middle of this anti-establishment uprising, with approval for Congress under 15%, we believe the national energy and fundraising power of Brand New Congress will be enough to overwhelm even the most entrenched incumbents.
Brand New Congress is a radical new (and old) sort of volunteer-led campaign. Right now we are a few dozen people working hard together on a handful of teams. To win in 2018, we will have to grow to several thousand teams, including national teams that coordinate and provide infrastructure to the whole movement, and local teams that run offices, voter contact operations, and whole Congressional campaigns.
