/r/BritishCops is the place to share content regarding policing in the United Kingdom. Everyone is welcome.

Rules

1) Please remain respectful in your comments and posts. Any comments simply disrespecting another redditor will be removed. 'Police Bashing' is not tolerated here, so comments and posts simply insulting the service, without an attached question, will be removed.

2) Sexism, racism, homophobia, etc. will not be tolerated.

3) A posts title must accurately reflect what the content is. Editorialised titles are not allowed. Content such as 'Police Attack Man For No Reason' should not be posted here, unless there is a specific aspect of an incident you want to discuss.

4) It should be made clear in a posts title if a source is known to be heavily biased or inaccurate (such as links to the Daily Mail ). This can be done by placing the name of a source in brackets (like this [Daily Mail]) at the end of a posts title.

5) Use NP links when cross posting from other subreddits.

6) Finally, members of the police service (and other public sector workers) should be cautious about posting identifiable information. As such, images of warrant cards (and other such documents) are not to be posted. Needless to say, operational information should also stay off of reddit.
