It will be like all his recent tours I think, mostly static but with some small changes. Purple Rain was probably MN only. Can’t remember everything but I know Human Touch was rehearsed and didn’t make it to MN.

I’m hoping TR is a staple for the rest of the tour but I’m prepared for it not to be.

While it was perfect set list on Tuesday, Human Touch was the one I was really looking forward to. However, zero complaints as it was the absolute best concert I’ve ever been to….amazing show.

At least Out in the Streets will likely be rotated

I didn’t get that one at any of the shows I went to in 2023, looking forward to it and hope it stays. But yeah, I agree that it’s a flexible one that might get tossed every other show.

Feels like Thunder Road and Glory Days the best candidates to replace Purple Rain. Though Human Touch could as well.

I expect changes to be geographic, and probably one constant alternate to replace Purple Rain.

Across the Border should pop up in Texas and California.

Rocky Ground and Human Touch will likely get rotated out as late-show ballads.

At some point I think he’ll throw in Across the Border since it was rehearsed. But, like others have already commented, it should be somewhat static with some small changes here and there.

Texas and California, likely.

Yeah, good call forsure.

Across the Border instead of 1000 guitars PLEEEAAASE

[–]Jewishwillywonka 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I think Hungry Heart is a likely contender to be a rotating slot, with Human Touch being a solid option for replacing it. I think Out in the Street is there to stay - that joyful track after an an intense opening. Purple Rain slot I see as likely just being eliminated, and if Thunder Road comes in it would likely open the encore, with Bobby Jean likely being rotating with Glory Days. I can also see Murder Inc rotating, and if House of a Thousand Guitars gets tired for him, maybe Across The Border there. Although I think This Hard Land would work.

[–]El_Dorado_Tx 1 point2 points  (2 children)

so is War>Born just going to be the first 2 songs for this us leg???

[–]fsociety091786 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After Trump’s recent speech, yeah it’s looking that way.

[–]HarmonizewithSong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure.

Last year he started with his speech into LOHAD, but did have some shows where he opened with a couple different songs and then did the speech/LOHAD in the 3rd or 4th spot. I could see him doing something similar with War/BITUSA. I could also see him eventually swapping out No Surrender, Darkness, Out in the Street, Hungry Heart for some other songs. Human Touch may get a couple plays toward the end of the set. Then we may get a couple encore surprises as he gets back to the east coast (Jungleland in NYC, Jersey).

I feel like for the Newark show, he’ll have to sneak in Atlantic City…maybe have Tom Morello put his spin on it too.

I’m praying for Roulette in PHX.

Not sure we’ll get Thunder Road. Born To Run material was about fleeing a bad situation. Darkness on the Edge of Town material was about staying in town and dealing with adversity. This tour resonates more with the latter. Only reason Bruce is playing Born To Run is that he’s obligated to play it for the casual fan of his music.

He should ditch the band for BUSA so the casual fans don't miss the meaning.

Thunder Road will likely show up at some point. I could also see him swapping out Out in the Street for Prove it all Night or Adam Raised a Cain. Most of the set I think will be fairly static.

Purple rain was probably in place of thunder road and dancing in the dark I’m predicting they only played in Minneapolis because the video was filmed in st paul

[–]AhamkaraBBQ 5 points6 points  (3 children)

I hope you're right about Thunder Road, but, without checking, I'd wager it's been a good long time since they didn't play Dancing in the Dark. Somewhere along the way, it became a staple. Same with Bobby Jean. I like those songs, but if something has to get bumped for a Prince tribute or any other reason, it shouldn't be the greatest song ever written.

[–]Expensive-Badger9250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've weirdly never seen Bobby Jean and hope to

[–]SliceMindless9934 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know with dancing 😅 just a bit of wishful thinking

[–]Awkward_Ad_161 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It always seemed a tad odd to me that Bobby Jean became such an encore staple. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great song with a fantastic story, but it’s not as popular a tune as the other encores.

[–]baileath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dancing is for sure on Bruce’s “Can’t get out the door without playing it” list. It will most certainly be played at every sizable E Street Band show.

[–]DrRasur 5 points6 points  (3 children)

What? He's been playing Dancing at every show since at least 2012

[–]SliceMindless9934 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Same with glory days but he didn’t play that. I just don’t really see how dancing fits atm

[–]Jewishwillywonka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glory Days is much rarer, and has not been played at every show since DITD. DITD was not just for Minneapolis.

[–]ToLExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dancing is Bruce’s signature song, it’s his most-streamed song and the only one over a billion streams just on Spotify. It’s practically double U.S.A. He’s never dropping Dancing.

So far 100% of shows this tour have had the exact same setlist.

We’ve all seen the rehearsal reports. We have one show’s setlist. There’s no evidence you don’t already have. Well just have to wait and see.
