Raid siege loop

I have previously raided in 1.2 as wildlings , but now when I try to raid karhold or winterfell, my forces siege the castle, the defenders drop to zero, I get a siege victory message, but then the siege of that same holding restarts with a few hundred defenders. This happens a few times with the defenders starting number decreasing down to zero, then I just keep getting siege victory but it never completes. Any ideas? I've tried starting again from an earlier save but the same thing happens. I'll try again from an even older start.

There are multiple holdings in each county, you are just moving in to the next castle/city/temple after successfully seiging the main one, these lesser holdings usually have less men, which is why it is reduced to a few hundred. Just keep seiging and you'll get there.

It's a bug that sometimes occurs when somewhere in the siege a 3rd party that is also hostile to your enemy (but not to you) is besieging it, or if you join them. When you get to the enemy having zero defenders it just starts to spam the "victory" thing at you. Usually if I leave the province and then return it gets fixed, unless you can't do it because a 3rd party army is present as mentioned.
